St. Michael’s School is in search of young, talented, and devoted staff. The school is accepting applications for the following positions for the next academic year (2024-25):

PRT – Mother Teachers for Pre-Primary section / All Subjects (English, Mathematics, EVS & Hindi)
TGT – All Subjects (English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies & Computer)
PGT – All Subjects (English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Commerce – Accountancy & Business Studies, Computer Science)
Academic Coordinator / Incharge
Special Educator
Health & Wellness Teacher / Counselor
Activity Teacher (Dance / Music / Art & Craft)
Physical Education Teacher

Eligibility criteria for the above-mentioned posts

PRT – Primary Teacher
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- Professional Qualification: B.Ed. / D.El.Ed.
- Candidates should be competent in teaching in English medium.
- Preference
  - CTET-qualified candidates.
  - Female candidates / mother teachers for primary classes.
  - Teachers with at least two years of teaching experience in primary classes.

TGT – Trained Graduate Teacher
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects / combination of subjects and aggregate.
- The electives subjects and Languages in the combination of subjects are as follows:
  - For TGT (English): English as a subject in all three years.
  - For TGT (Hindi): Hindi as a subject in all three years.
  - For TGT (Sanskrit): Sanskrit as a subject in all three years.
  - For TGT (Mathematics) – Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics with any two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, Statistics.
  - For TGT (Science) – Physics, Botany, Zoology and Chemistry.
  - For TGT (Social Science): Any two of the following: History, Geography, Economics, and Political Science, of which one must be either history or Geography.
  - For TGT (Computer) – At least 50 % marks in aggregate in any of the following:
    - B.E. / B.Tech (Comp. Sci.) / BCA / MCA / M.Sc.(Comp.Sci.) / M.Sc. (Electronics with Computer Science Components) / M.Sc. (I.T) / B.Sc. (Comp. Sci.)
    - Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in any Science with a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized University / Institute.
    - Post graduate in any subject with PGDCA in Computer Application from a recognized University / ‘O’ Level from DOEACC
    - Post graduate degree in any subject with minimum ‘A’ Level from DOEACC
- Professional Qualification: B.Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
- Candidates should be competent in teaching in English medium.
- Preference:
  - CTET-qualified candidates.
  - Teachers with at least two years of teaching experience in middle / secondary classes.

PGT – Post Graduate Teacher
- Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects:
  - PGT (English) – English
  - PGT (Maths) – Mathematics / Applied Mathematics
  - PGT (Physics) – Physics / Electronics / Applied Physics / Nuclear Physics.
  - PGT (Chemistry) – Chemistry / Bio. Chem.
  - PGT (Biology) – Botany / Zoology / Life Sciences / Bio Sciences / Genetics / Micro Biology / Bio-Technology / Molecular Bio / Plant Physiology, provided they have studied Botany and Zoology at the Graduation level.
  - PGT (Economics) – Economics / Applied Economics / Business Economics.
  - PGT (Commerce) – M.Com in Accountancy or Business Studies.
  - PGT (Computer Science) – At least 50 % marks in aggregate in any of the following:
    - B.E or B. Tech. (Computer Science / IT) from a recognized University or equivalent Degree or Diploma from an institution / university recognized by the Govt. of India.
    - B.E or B. Tech. (any stream) and Post Graduate Diploma in Computers from a recognized University.
    - M.Sc (Computer Science)/ MCA or Equivalent from a recognized University.
    - B.Sc (Computer Science) / BCA or Equivalent and Post Graduate degree in subject from a recognized University.
    - Post Graduate Diploma in Computer and Post Graduate degree in any subject from a recognized University.
    - ‘B’ Level from DOEACC and Post Graduate degree in any subject.
    - ‘C’ Level from ‘DOEACC’ Ministry of Information and Communication Technology and Graduation.
- Professional Qualification: B.Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
- Candidates should be competent in teaching in English medium.
- Teaching Experience: Teachers with at least three years of teaching experience in senior secondary classes will be preferred.

Academic Coordinator / Incharge
- Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in English / Science from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- Professional Qualification: B.Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
- Candidates should be competent in teaching through the medium of English.
- Experience: Academicians with at least two years of experience as a Incharge / Coordinator in Secondary / Senior Secondary Classes will be preferred.

Special Educator: Applicants with any of the following qualifications may apply:
- Graduate with B.Ed. (special education) or
- B.Ed. General with a one / two-year diploma in special education or
- B.Ed. General with a post-graduate professional diploma in special education or
- B.Ed. Special education and post-graduate professional certificate in special education or
- PG diploma in special education (mental retardation) or
- PG diploma in special education (multiple disabilities: physical and neurological) or
- PG diploma in special education (locomotor impairment and cerebral palsy) or
- Secondary-level teacher training course in visual impairment or
- Senior diploma in teaching the deaf or
- B.A. / B.Ed. in visual impairment

Health & Wellness Teacher / Counselor
- Educational Qualification: B.A / B.Sc (Psychology) from a recognized college or university + regular one-year postgraduate diploma in guidance and counselling.
- Desirable qualification: –
  - Minimum of one year Experience in Providing Career / Educational counselling to students at the school level OR
  - Registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India as a Vocational Counselor.

Activity Teacher (Dance / Music / Arts & Craft)
- Dance Teacher
  - Qualification: Graduate in Dance and / or Diploma in Dance or equivalent from a recognised University / Institute.Teaching Experience: Teachers with at least two years of teaching experience will be preferred.
- Music Teacher
  - Qualification: Graduate in / with Music or equivalent from a recognised University / Institute.
  - Teaching Experience: Teachers with at least two years of teaching experience will be preferred.
- Art & Craft Teacher
  - Qualification: Graduate with Drawing and Painting / Art / Fine Art with a minimum two years full-time diploma or equivalent from a recognised University / Institute OR M.A. in Drawing and Painting / Fine Art from a recognised University.
  - Teaching Experience: Teachers with at least two years of teaching experience will be preferred.

Physical Education Teacher
- Educational Qualification:
  - Graduation degree with B.P.Ed. / M.P.Ed.
  - Trained & experienced (Preferably with NIS or SAI background) with specialization.
- Working Experience: Candidates with at least two years of working experience as a Sports Coach will be preferred.

Dynamic candidates with higher academic attainment and computer & information technology proficiency will be preferred for all posts.
