St. Michael’s School has grown from a small group of 13 students, 3 teachers and 2 ward boys to a team of over 2100 individuals today. Many of our children are now entering National level competitions be it in academics or extracurricular events, and are also engaged in a variety of activities from yoga to adventure sports, music and dance, athletic events and many more on a regular basis. We believe in imparting education to our students that is joyful, meaningful, relevant, holistic, futuristic as well as that connects to the day to day living in the real world.

Bucket of Wonders and Smart 9 are two exciting features of our school. Teachers keep students motivated with the bucket of wonders, in which they pick out a toy or any object they want to teach the kids about. This keeps the primary children especially motivated to come to school every day.

Smart 9 are nine motivational words such as walk, talk, dress, act smart, and know, memory, vocabulary and stage are written boldly on every floor of the school buildings, reminding students about them. The intention is to remind students about inculcating good habits such as working and dressing up smartly, behaving kindly etc in their life. It has had a good effect on their psyche as many a times if they lose self-discipline, these words remind them how to be. (add photograph of smart 9)

To add to this, St. Michael’s School is situated in the serene stretches of village Jajpur, where there is no hustle bustle of a city, instead is laden with trees and farms all around.
